About the Project
This is an extended research study from my first research study report
Music Copyright as Intellectual Property on the Information Infrastructure;
(research, technology solution and implementation proposal on music
copyright issues, protection and procedures on the International Information
Infrastructure.).
Thus this is the second edition.

I've been collecting as much research and statistics as possible putting together
plausable findings to base my studies on. One that I have come directly in contact
with is the MP3 situation. I have directly conversed with the president of the MP3
consortium who is also one of the leaders of the Anti-RIAA campaign, and in fact have
gotten a personal response from the president of the RIAA about the anti-RIAA campaign
at the last Canadian Music Week conference. It was a well staged answer prepared for
on-the-spot questions that were broadcasted over the airwaves, but a good
answer none the less.

Some other subjects I want to cover and have been colleting information on are
international relations and treaties that affect this matter, as well as information on
international organizations that aid in resolving this situation accross national
boundries. I also want to continue in depth research into ASCAP, BMI and SESAC to see
what they have planned or are currently doing. In this second edition, I want to do
wider research into other organizations like copyright collectors and publishing firms,
instead of just sticking with the performing rights.
