-- (Software Architecture/Engineering/Development) Enterprise Technology Engineer
Combined Linux Virtual Server and later F5 Networks BigIP with Sun Enterprise Web Server to run Java Web Applications on any OS platform in both local and geo co-located clusters.
Wrote a unique application that created a geo-failover pool strategy for MySQL, to perform a hot-fail from one geo-location to another unpon server, network or NOC failure automatically (see CodePin.org).
Wrote a modular/hack-usable library to more easily help integrate LDAP password verification into a Java application which does not support LDAP natively (see CodePin.org)
Wrote a utility to manage creation, rotation, and distribution of passwords in an enterprise server community collection with tailorable authorization levels using GPG/PGP encryption. (see CodePin.org)
- I solved unique application problems with:
A strategy for creating and maintaining a reusable framework for common resources implemented in multiple projects.
A modular and reusable model for phased-in client data set updates, to merge several sources into a single target, implementing an auditable import and merge trail with manual client audit requirements.
Client project interactivity and contribution structure, mostly process, licensing, policy agreements with a base technology implementation.
-- (Knowledge/Process Engineering) Enterprise Technology Engineer
- I developed for the organization:
Product Development Lifecycle Model
Client Interaction Lifecycle Model
Content Configuration, Deployment and Management Strategy
Geo Web Cluster Configuration, Deployment and Management Strategy
Technology Budgetary Management Strategy

-- Network & Systems Engineer
Devised a computer and network infrastructure strategy, and implemented it cost effectively for a growing start-up like company into now a major technology leader with co-located NOCs.
Hired and managed an IT team which we deployed the company's first multi-server cluster farm with failover technology strategies eventually implementing even virtual servers today.
Brought in Gigabit Fiber Optic technology after first working with existing legacy technology to create a 10Base5 ring which produced the organization first redundant backbone which operated until I could bring in ATM to replace that legacy ring used for 10Base5 and T1 deployment in a state-wide teleconferencing network, later deploying a Gigabit Ethernet fiber ring.
Created a first, and leader, in a government based organization to run only Unix/Linux and not Microsoft Servers. Proving cost effectiveness and stability can both be achieved when managed properly.
Managed enterprise software applications for various internal services for all aspects of the organization's needs.
